When Pastor Canaday was 9 years old, he heard his pastor preach on message on Hell. After the service, he went forward and asked Christ to come into his heart and save him. After high school, he attended Tennessee Temple University and graduated in 1982. He began his preaching in a small country church in Wisconsin. He served faithfully for 3 years until God called him to pastor Oqueoc Baptist Church in Michigan. He saw God’s hand at work and the church began to grow. He served faithfully there for 5 years. In May of 1992, Pastor Canaday felt God’s leading to come to Calvary. He and his wife Teresa continue serving on a weekly basis.
