Calvary Baptist of Gaines

The church began humbly in the garage of a local family’s home, where a small group of believers gathered for prayer, fellowship, and the study of Scripture. Word spread, and what started as a handful of friends soon grew into a devoted congregation. As attendance increased, the need for a dedicated space became clear, leading the members to purchase and construct the first building. That structure stood as a symbol of their faith, laying the foundation for the church that continues to serve the community today.
